The Devil wears Prada is a fabulous film, just as is Meryl Streep’s fabulous interpretation of Miranda, not to mention how fabulous the interior design of the film set is! In fact, today we will look together at the office of Miranda (Meryl Streep), which I find particularly interesting and stylistically full of ideas from which to take inspiration.
And so, although Miranda represents the “devil” in this film, it would seem that she loves very bright spaces… just like I do! In fact, the studio has large windows through which enters, this emphasises the monochrome walls and floor in a light shade of beige.
We can note that the contrast between light (walls and floor) and dark details (the furniture and accessories) which serve to create a truly refined and clean style.
Inevitable and incredibly stylish is the gallery wall, with photos, pictures, and mirrors.
In conclusion, to get such a functional and chic office, the secret is to remain minimal. Do not use too many colors and choose the accessories characterized by simple and clean lines. In reality, no frills, but just what you need, what’s right for you and that reflects your personality!
Cherry on the cake? Enrich the decor of a room with plants (really I recommend) in full view!
What do you think about it? Do you like the ideas in this studio? What’s your office like? Would you like to change it?
Emily!
