Beetlejuice House

Do you remember “Beetlejuice”? Personally as a child, it always scared me a little bit… and what about you? I had the opportunity to see the movie again recently, and with adult eyes, in addition to not being afraid anymore, I have to say I was very impressed by the house, its design, when it was restored by the mean and snobby wife.

By passing the interior, because I don’t find it so interesting from a stylistic point of view, it just needed to create the right atmosphere. But outside is another story!

It has a contemporary and innovative style, even though the movie was shot in 1988!

Really inspiring, isn’t it?

Tim Burton managed to get an excellent result,  thanks to the collaboration with production designer Bo Welch; we can even find them working together again in “Edward Scissorhands” and “Batman Returns

What do you think about it? Do you like it? Did it give you some interesting ideas for your exterior? Don’t you find that the outside truly contemporary? Did you remember this particular house? Which house has impressed you most out of the movies you’ve seen?
