10 colourful seats to enrich your outdoors on summer

|

If you know me even a little, you will know that I am a great lover of neutral shades. Beige, greige, white, black and grey are the colours that I prefer when it comes to room settings. Those who know me well also know how much I love contrasts and how I like to light up neutral atmospheres with a touch of colour, an unexpected play on a theme and improvised pieces.

In this article I want to give space to colour and contrasts, which now at the beginning of summer could make a difference to your outdoor environment. Gardens, terraces and balconies: every type of outdoor space lends itself to welcoming a colourful seat.

Here is my selection of 10 super colourful seats designed for the outdoors and for these summer months.  Obviously, many of these seats can be found in different colours (also neutrals). Let’s start!

Panama by Talenti

Made in aluminium and synthetic nautical ropes. Panama is an outdoor seat with a contemporary flavour which adapts to any type of environment. Those who want to be sure they can find it, go here.

Filicudi by Qeeboo

Marcantonio’s design for the Filicudi armchair takes its inspiration from an iconic Mediterranean plant, the prickly pear. It maintains its elegance (without the thorns) whilst being slightly over the top. Without a doubt its amongst my favourites. Here in all its glory.

Alice by Edra

Made from polycarbonate, Alice is a luminous armchair. Needless to say, it gives its best when the sun goes down. Take a look!

Colette Outdoor by Minotti

If you want to add colour without exaggerating, Colette is the perfect outdoor chair. In Fact the slightly more lively colours (not too much) are applied to the metal framework of the chair. The effect is elegance and lightness, look for yourselves.

Husk by Moroso

Husk is a seat made using the same thread as is used to make fishing nets. I would say the the connection with the sun, the sea and the summer goes hand in hand. Perfect, if in addition to adding colour you also want a kind of sculptural object. Catch it here.

Brioni Outdoor by Kristalia

This seat (or rather collection of seats) bears the name of an archipelago in the Adriatic sea. The chromatic effect is present but not too invasive. I would say that it’s the perfect outdoor chair for those who want to add a touch of colour whilst being cautious. Here is the complete collection.
