Tom Dixon, the British designer who founded the brand that bears his name in 2002, is one of the people and design companies that I love most in contemporary design. I really like Tom Dixon’s style, the sophistication, the refined taste and it is never banal which characterizes every creation.
His company is polyhedral and has a very competent team, dealing with product design, interior design, architecture and installations.
All these disciplines follow a refined line, very “British”, with an explosive personality. It’s never missing ingredients such as ingenuity and eccentricity.
Tom Dixon curiously became a designer almost by accident, after being self-taught. What consecrated him to the world of design was the S-Chair designed for Cappellini.
